We totally forgot about Canada Day until another Canadian tourist on our boat mentioned it today! How patriotic is that eh? :)
So Blair and I are packed this week full of adventures. On Sunday we arrived in Cairns from Brisbane. Monday we checked out the city and got information on tours and booked the ones we wanted. Tuesday we went white water rafting, which was amazing! I highly recomend that activity to everyone! Then we went on a 3 day tour up to Cape Tribulation, which is in the rainforest a couple hours north of Cairns. Then Saturday we left for our 2 day cruise on the Great Barrier Reef! We had an awesome time snorkling, diving and seeing all kinds of amazing fish, etc. It was so neat to see how intricately and carefully God has made this world!
So now we are pretty tired, but we have one more day here in Cairns to relax and then we fly to Sydney on Tuesday and back to Calgary on Wednesday. We have really enjoyed our time here in Australia, but we are also looking forward to coming back and seeing friends and family. We will have lots of pictures to show and stories to tell! :) Thats all for now. Hopefully I will get some pictures up soon!
