So...Blair and decided to save our money this past weekend and not go surfing. Instead, we went to Victor Harbor which is about 1 1/2 hour outside of Adelaide. The first night we went there we were too late to go to the adventure/theme park there, so we went on a camel ride on the beach instead! It was one of those things we had to do just to say that we have done it! It was a perfect night for it as well; we had the sunset just as we were going along the beach so it was pretty neat.
The next day we went to a place called Greenhills Adventure Park for the afternoon, which was a great way to relax and have some fun. We did lots of different activities like rock climbing, waterslides, aqua-bikes and archery. We tried canoeing, but we had this really tippy conoe and we went down this little stream that smelled like sewer or worse! So that ended after about two minutes.
It was a pretty great weekend; we had lots of time to relax and just hang out. Now we are back at work, trying to save up for our trip. Blair is going hunting with a friend of Bryan Martin's in Melbourne area in the beginning of May, so he is pretty pumped about that! He finally gets to shoot some roos and other Aussie animals. :)
I told some guys at work that I shot a squirrel once and I think it shocked them a little as my first impression with people is not a shooter type girl. Anyways, it was pretty amusing to see their reactions.
We are looking forward to coming back and sharing all our memories with you at home!
